When you are in uncomfortable position and have got no cash to go out from that point, you would have to take the credit loans. Just because that should aid you emphatically. I get collateral loan every time I need and feel myself fine just because of it.

I think you should be wary of Tony baloney. It might sound like he is offering what you want but so far he has made no real commitment. He only really promises to oppose the government's proposal which is a significan step towards what should have happened long ago. It's a case of bird in hand.

the lack of any details on this policy concerns me greatly, as does the consant reference to MATernity leave opposed to Parental leave. Given their track record I have no faith in the Liberals delivering any meaningful scheme for Australian parents. The Greens seem to be the only party who have consistently promoted a decent parental leave scheme, unfortuantly their ability to deliver the scheme is fruitless.
In my opinion the Maternity/ parental leave campaign in Australia has been a complete failure. what on earth went wrong to leave Australian women in such a dismal situation. It seems we keep talking but no one is listening. It seems the feminist movement has been paid a lot of lip service in the past 15 years but have we actually won on this issue? The feminist movement needs to start flexing it's muscles, becasue both Labor and Liberal have proven to be no friend of the womens movement.

They say action speaks louder then words and Abbott has proven many times before, his words doesn't turn into action.

But have people considered he is only doing this, because there is an Australian Election in 2010 and he wouldn't be doing this at other times.

for true equity to be achieve society needs to support women (or men) who chose to raise their own childern and thus forfit their 'careers' in the paid workforce. Our society does not see these women (and men) as valid members, many do volinteer work to that reduce the demand on other resources and help to ensure that the next generation are civilised. Instead when asked what do you do? and repley I am a mother, they are then told yes but what else do you do? implying that what they do is not good enough and they can be dimissed as being non important.

If as does now happen these women then loss their partners the years they spent running a household and looking after family is regards as non work. Thus not unsuppring they find that their abilty to earn is less and their imcome is very low.

I feel that oen way to address this inbalance is to allow couples to split their income between the paid worker and the at home worker so that both have status in our society which sees personal income as personal value.
