Our philosophy

2020women has been established to give voice to women's stories and dreams.  Stories reflect the diversity of women's lives and describe the challenges they have faced. Dreams drive change and growth, and give women new ideas and vision for what is possible.

We believe that women of all ages and all backgrounds create opportunities for their own continued growth and provide a supportive environment for the growth of those around them.  Through the sharing of women's stories, 2020women believes we can increase understanding of how women's choices enhance their lives and the lives of those around them.  By providing access to resources, 2020women believes we also may help women make the best choices for their circumstances. 

Economic security, health care and social interaction are fundamental to a positive quality of life, and by exploring current issues that women face in achieving their goals, 2020women hopes to contribute to an improved quality of life for some women.  We want to recognise the importance of women's experiences, and empower them to live out their dreams.
