I couldn't help thinking about Mr Ed (you know, the talking horse from the '60s) the other day when I read that not only is 1st August the horses' birthday, it is also the 25th anniversary of the introduction of the Sex Discrimination Act in Australia.

Talkback feminism

I hope to prod, poke and probe current thinking about what it is like to be an Australian woman.  Feminist issues affect everyone in Australia, but often are presented using complex and confused language that relies on feminist jargon.  I want to unravel some of this to make feminist issues of interest to everyone.
