The grandfather of government services web sites is australia.gov.au

South Australia.

The Government of South Australia also runs an interesting web site. I could have been a bit distracted by their webcam page  but fortunately none of the webcams were working when I looked!

Tasmania

Services Tasmania has a comprehensive Law and public safety page. Check out the sidebar on the left, the ‘For me' section is particularly user-friendly.  Also very useful is their social and community services page.

Western Australia

The WA government's Guide to Government is pretty good, but perhaps a bit Perth-centric. For example, I looked for Southern Edge Arts (family interest) but in vain, there was no direct link to be found.

Queensland

The Queensland Government web site gives a wide range of information in a straightforward way.
